"Agora, porém, Deus nos mostrou um caminho diferente para
o céu - não o fato de sermos "bonzinhos" e procurarmos guardar suas
leis, mas um novo caminho (ainda que não seja tão novo assim - realmente, pois
as Escrituras falaram dele há muito tempo). Agora Deus diz que nos aceitará e
nos absolverá - Ele nos declarará "sem culpa" - se nós confiarmos em
Jesus Cristo para Ele tirar os nossos pecados. - E todos nós podemos ser salvos
deste mesmo modo, vindo a Cristo, não importa o que somos ou o que temos sido.
Sim, todos pecaram; todos fracassaram, e não puderam alcançar
o glorioso ideal de Deus; no entanto, Deus nos declara agora "sem
culpa" das ofensas que Lhe fizemos se confiarmos em Jesus Cristo, aquele
que em sua bondade tira os nossos pecados gratuitamente."

without the law there is a revelation of the righteousness of God, to which
witness is given by the law and the prophets;
That is,
the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all those who have
faith; and one man is not different from another,
For all
have done wrong and are far from the glory of God;
And they
may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the
salvation which is in Christ Jesus"
