O SEGREDO DA ALEGRIA INVENCÍVEL

Jesus revelou um segredo que protege nossa alegria da ameaça do sofrimento e da ameaça do sucesso. O segredo é este: Grande é a sua recompensa nos céus. E a soma desta recompensa é deleitar-se na completude da glória de Jesus Cristo (João 17:24).

Ele protege nossa alegria dos sofrimentos quando Ele diz,

Bem-aventurados sois vós, quando vos injuriarem e perseguirem, e, mentindo, disserem todo o mal contra vós, por minha causa. Exultai e alegrai-vos, porque é grande o vosso galardão nos céus. (Mateus 5:11-12) .

Nosso grande galardão nos céus resgata nossa alegria da ameaça da perseguição e injúrias.

Ele também protege nossa alegria do sucesso quando Ele diz,

Mas não vos alegreis porque se vos sujeitem os espíritos; alegrai-vos, antes, por estar o vosso nome escrito nos céus. (Lucas 10:20)

Os discípulos estavam tentados a colocar a alegria deles no sucesso do ministério. "Senhor, pelo teu nome, até os demônios se nos sujeitam!" (Lucas 10:17). Mas isto teria separado o deleite deles de sua única âncora verdadeira.

Então Jesus protegeu a alegria deles da ameaça do sucesso ao prometer o grande galardão dos céus. Regozijem-se nisto: que os seus nomes são escritos no céu. Sua herança é infinita, eterna, certa.

Nossa alegria é segura. Nem sofrimento nem sucesso pode destruir sua âncora. Grande é seu galardão no céu. Seu nome é escrito lá. Está seguro.

Jesus ancorou a alegria dos santos que sofrem no galardão do céu. E Ele ancorou a alegria dos santos bem-sucedidos na mesma âncora.

E assim Ele nos livrou da tirania das dores e prazeres mundanos.

Por que Jesus viveu na Terra durante aquele tempo? Para assumir os nossos pecados é uma coisa, para experienciar a morte, sim, mas para ter que aguentar estradas longas, dias longos? Por que Ele fez isso? Porque Ele quer que você confie nEle. Até mesmo seu último ato na Terra teve como objetivo ganhar sua confiança.

Marcos 15:22 diz, “Eles trouxeram Jesus ao lugar chamado Gólgota, onde lhe ofereceram vinho misturado com mirra, mas Ele não tomou. E O crucificaram.” Por quê? Por que Ele aguentou todo aquele sofrimento? – todos aqueles sentimentos? Porque Ele sabia que você ficaria fraco, perturbado, e com raiva. Sabia que seria acometido de tristeza, fome, e que enfrentaria dor.

Um pedinte sabe que não adianta mendigar de um outro pedinte. Ele sabe que precisa de alguém mais forte do que ele.

A mensagem de Jesus da cruz é esta: Eu sou a Pessoa. Confie em Mim.

Why did Jesus live on the earth as long as He did? To take on our sins is one thing; to experience death, yes, but to put up with long roads and long days? Why did He do it? Because He wants you to trust Him. Even His final act on earth was intended to win your trust.

Mark 15:22.says, “They brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha where they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.  And they crucified Him.” Why?  Why did He endure all this suffering—all these feelings? Because He knew you’d be weary, disturbed, and angry. He knew you’d be grief-stricken, and hungry, that you’d face pain.

A pauper knows better than to beg from another pauper. He knows he needs someone who’s stronger than he is.

Jesus’ message from the Cross is this:  I am that Person. Trust Me.

Marcos 15:21-39

Certo homem de Cirene, chamado Simão, pai de Alexandre e de Rufo, passava por ali, chegando do campo. Eles o forçaram a carregar a cruz.
Levaram Jesus ao lugar chamado Gólgota, que quer dizer Lugar da Caveira.
Então lhe deram vinho misturado com mirra, mas ele não o bebeu.
E o crucificaram. Dividindo as roupas dele, tiraram sortes para saber com o que cada um iria ficar.
Eram nove horas da manhã quando o crucificaram.
E assim estava escrito na acusação contra ele: O REI DOS JUDEUS.
Com ele crucificaram dois ladrões, um à sua direita e outro à sua esquerda,
e cumpriu-se a Escritura que diz: "Ele foi contado entre os transgressores".
Os que passavam lançavam-lhe insultos, balançando a cabeça e dizendo: "Ora, você que destrói o templo e o reedifica em três dias,
desça da cruz e salve-se a si mesmo! "
Da mesma forma, os chefes dos sacerdotes e os mestres da lei zombavam dele entre si, dizendo: "Salvou os outros, mas não é capaz de salvar a si mesmo.
O Cristo, o Rei de Israel... Desça da cruz, para que o vejamos e creiamos! " Os que foram crucificados com ele também o insultavam.
E houve trevas sobre toda a terra, do meio dia às três horas da tarde.
Por volta das três horas da tarde, Jesus bradou em alta voz: "Eloí, Eloí, lamá sabactâni? " que significa: "Meu Deus! Meu Deus! Por que me abandonaste? "
Quando alguns dos que estavam presentes ouviram isso, disseram: "Ouçam! Ele está chamando Elias".
Um deles correu, embebeu uma esponja em vinagre, colocou-a na ponta de uma vara e deu-a a Jesus para beber. E disse: "Deixem-no. Vejamos se Elias vem tirá-lo daí".
Mas Jesus, com um alto brado, expirou.
E o véu do santuário rasgou-se em duas partes, de alto a baixo.
Quando o centurião que estava em frente de Jesus ouviu o seu brado e viu como ele morreu, disse:

"Realmente este homem era o Filho de Deus!"

A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross.

Someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. "Now leave him alone. Let's see if Elijah comes to take him down," he said.
With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.
The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, [^3] he said,

"Surely this man was the Son of God!"

Como você se sentiria se uma lista das suas fraquezas fosse publicada para que todos, inclusive o próprio Cristo, pudesse ver? Sim, Cristo escreveu sobre seus erros. E sim, a lista foi tornada pública. Mas você nunca a viu. Nem eu.

Venha comigo para o monte do Calvário. Assista quando os soldados empurraram o Carpinteiro no chão e estiraram seus braços contra as vigas. Um pressiona um joelho contra o antebraço e uma estaca contra uma mão. Jesus vira Seu rosto em direção ao prego na hora em que o soldado levanta o martelo para batê-lo. Será que Jesus não podia impedi-lo? Por quê? Por que Jesus não resistiu?

Através dos olhos das Escrituras nós vemos o que outros não captaram, mas que Jesus viu. Colossenses 2:14 diz, “e cancelou a escrita de dívida, que consistia em ordenanças, e que nos era contrária. Ele a removeu, pregando-a na cruz,”.

How would you feel if a list of your weaknesses were posted so that everyone, including Christ Himself, could see?  Yes, Christ has chronicled your shortcomings. And, yes, that list has been made public. But you’ve never seen it. Neither have I.

Come with me to the hill of Calvary.  Watch as the soldiers shove the Carpenter to the ground and stretch His arms against the beams. One presses a knee against a forearm and a spike against a hand.  Jesus turns His face toward the nail just as the soldier lifts the hammer to strike it. Couldn’t Jesus have stopped Him?

Through the eyes of Scripture we see what others missed but what Jesus saw.  Colossians 2:14 says, “He canceled the record that contained the charges against us.  He took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s cross!”
